The Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) has launched a new programme called “DBN for Her” to support women in business.

The programme aims to give women better access to finance so they can grow their businesses and create jobs.

Gender Minister pledges economic empowerment for boy child

The Swakopmund Municipal Council, in partnership with Langer Heinrich Uranium Mine, has launched the Youth Entrepreneurial Development Initiative (YEDI).

With a N$1 million investment, YEDI aims to empower young people by providing the tools and support to start and grow businesses.

EntrepenHER Empowers Women Entrepreneurs in ||Kharas, Hardap Regions

The EntrepenHER programme has empowered over a thousand women microentrepreneurs with core business skills to grow their businesses. 

Implemented in 2018, the initiative is a collaboration between the Ministry of Gender Equality and Child Welfare, De Beers Group and UN Women.
