Namibians are encouraged to show support for their beauty queens as they represent the country on international stages.

There are four pageants in which Namibia will be represented internationally.

The Cancer Association of Namibia (CAN), in collaboration with the South African Bone Marrow Registry, has urged Namibians who are between the ages of 16 and 45 to donate bone marrow stem cells to save lives.

The call was made during the National Awareness Week campaign in Windhoek.

Miss Namibia, Jameela |Uiras, and Miss Teen 2023, Oriana Ribeiro, paid a courtesy call to the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation (MIRCO) to familiarise themselves with their responsibilities in the recently launched Namibia International Women's Peace Centre.
