The Minister of Finance, Ericah Shafudah, said the government will soon roll out plans to fully digitise the process for submitting annual income tax returns.

The Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) says it remains committed to stabilising the upgraded ASYCUDA World Customs system following operational challenges experienced by clearing agents at Walvis Bay Harbour.

Solidarity messages were also conveyed from the African Union, United Nations and African Association for Public Administration and Management.

They emphasised the need to professionalise the public service and enhance digitalisation and inclusivity. 

The Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) collaborated with the OvaHimba people to co-create the digitalization of cultural heritage.
