ICJ to announce ruling on Israel’s Gaza war tomorrow

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) is expected to rule this Friday on whether it will grant emergency measures requested by South Africa to stop the genocidal war in Gaza.

The ICJ heard the case by South Africa against Israel and requested provisional measures to stop the carnage in Palestine.

According to a statement from the ICJ, a public sitting will take place at midday at the Peace Palace in the Hague, during which the President of the Court, Judge Joan Donoghue, will read the Court's Order.

ICJ can order Israel to comply with provisional measures in alleged Gaza genocide

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) can order Israel to comply with provisional measures within weeks with regard to its alleged genocide in Gaza. 

However, Namibian legal experts say that for Israel to comply, more countries need to step up, pledge their support for Palestine, and stand with South Africa. 

While the determination on the merits of South Africa's application before the International Court of Justice against Israel could take years, the court can order Israel to comply with provisional measures.

Namibia, Zambia compare notes on civil registration

A high-level delegation from Zambia's National Registration, Passport, and Citizenship Department is in Namibia to engage in this knowledge-sharing initiative.
