Namibian and UK dentists join forces to promote dental health

Dentists from Namibia and the United Kingdom have united to put smiles on and educate vulnerable communities on dental health.

The teams went as far as the Usib farm outside Rehoboth and ended the dental tour at the Orlindi Place of Safety for children in Windhoek.

The Ongos Valley Foundation, in collaboration with the Mandela Washington Fellowship, held a community outreach event where they provided food to children and community members.

It was all smiles in Katutura as many residents flocked to the soup kitchen to enjoy some soup, snacks and refreshments.

Kunene Police Women’s Network educates expecting mothers

Members of the Kunene Police Women's Network have engaged with expecting mothers at the Kazetjindire Angelika Muharukua Maternity Waiting Home in Opuwo, educating them about issues on birth registration and postpartum stress disorder that develops after birth, as well as adoption.
