Deputy Prime Minister John Mutorwa has launched Risk Profiles of Natural Hazards and Selected Diseases in Namibia. 

To shape the future of vending activities in the Tukondjeni market, well known as Stop and Shop, the City of Windhoek engaged the vending operators in that area regarding their operations.

The city has instructed the Stop n Shop vendors to clean the marketplace by next Sunday.

To address water challenges faced by the people of the Kavango East Region, NamWater handed over the Kayengona and Shamvhura water supply river schemes to the residents of Rundu Rural and Ndiyona Constituencies yesterday.

The Kavango East Region has recorded over 3,300 cases of malaria so far this year.

In response, the Ministry of Health and Social Services is urging residents to allow indoor residual spray teams into their homes as the malaria prevention campaign officially kicks off this Monday. 

Ida Mendai, the Regional Health Director of Kavango East, is urging residents to cooperate with spray operators during the Indoor Residual Spray Campaign.

This method of malaria prevention targets mosquitoes that rest indoors and is set to begin on September 16th.
