The Southern African Development Community (SADC) has called for a strong and coordinated implementation of the integration agenda within the region.

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) has urged Madagascar’s law enforcement authorities to exercise maximum restraint and professionalism in responding to ongoing protests in the country.

The SADC region needs US$625 billion to be able to implement the priority projects outlined in the Regional Indicative Strategic Development Plan. 

The SADC Executive Secretary has called for urgent diplomatic intervention to reopen Goma International Airport and Kavumu Airport in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

While the southern African region remains peaceful and stable, there are still security challenges in some parts of the SADC that require an effective response.

Promoting peace and security within the SADC region topped the agenda at the Extra Ordinary Troika Summit in Lusaka, Zambia.
