The programme is led by Baines Vet Care Mobile Animal Clinic in partnership with the University of Namibia. It aims to make responsible pet care accessible and affordable and to prevent unwanted litters.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) has appealed to holiday-goers not to leave their pets unattended at home.

The SPCA has urged holidaygoers to plan in advance and ensure their pets are left in the hands of caretakers to avoid leaving them alone. 

CrossFit Windhoek recently hosted their annual event, "Justice for Animals," aimed at raising funds for animal welfare.

The event showcased a range of individual and team workouts crafted to push participants to their limits.
