Speaker of the National Assembly, Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila, has called for regional collaboration on artificial intelligence (AI) governance as Namibia signals its commitment to adopting AI in its parliamentary processes. 

The Speaker of Zimbabwe's National Assembly, Advocate Jacob Mudenda, has acknowledged the contributions of his Namibian counterpart during a valedictory ceremony held at the 56th Plenary Assembly of the Southern African Development Community Parliamentary Forum (SADC-PF) in Livingstone, Zambia.

The Secretary General of the SADC Parliamentary Forum, Boemo Sekgoma, emphasised the urgent need for environmental stewardship on this year's World Environment Day. 

The African Union Commission (AUC), in collaboration with the SADC Parliamentary Forum (SADC PF), convened a two-day workshop in Windhoek to look at parliamentary understanding and capacity in labour migration governance.
