Bank Windhoek's Cancer Apple Project has raised a record N$ 4 million this year to support children affected by cancer, marking the biggest amount ever raised through the initiative.

MTC emerged as the biggest donour, contributing N$ 400,000 towards the fundraiser.

The Kavango East Region needs more funds to improve the current teaching and learning environment.

The region has construction and renovations of classrooms underway, but some schools are still to benefit from the government project funds.
