Disgruntled workers of Maltahohe Village Council are up in arms over late salary payments for the past eight months. 

The workers maintained late payments that subjected them and their families to economic hardship.

The body of a man, suspected to have died by suicide, has been discovered along the Swakopmund coastline.

A passerby walking along the beach south of the Swakopmund jetty discovered the body early this morning after it washed ashore around 9:00.
