The 3rd Junior National Council session commenced today.
Officially opening the session, Vice President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah urged the young MPs to engage passionately in their discussions, emphasising that their contributions would shape the future of the country.
The National Council Chairperson, Lukas Muha, has expressed the need for the upper house and regional councils to engage communities to listen to their concerns.
This will help in the formulation of development agendas and legislative frameworks.
