Namibian Police in the Otjozondjupa Region have uncovered a dagga plantation and factory on a private farm located between Osire Refugee Settlement and Hochfeld.

Otjozondjupa Regional Police Commander Philip Hidengwa has confirmed the arrest of the farm owner, where an illegal dagga plantation and factory were uncovered yesterday between Osire Refugee Settlement and Hochfeld.

As he steps down as the Otjozondjupa Police Commander, Commissioner Heinrich Tjiveze has called on the incoming commander to solidify policing systems with farmers and the community to help curb stocktheft.
