Junior Mayor of the City of Windhoek, Kovii Kambai, has called for stronger youth participation and practical action on water, sanitation and hygiene in schools and public spaces. 

Newly sworn-in Swakopmund junior mayor, Enya Fortsch, has urged her peers to embrace leadership not as a quest for perfection, but as a commitment to service.

Walvis Bay Junior Mayor Fisabo Mapalo says the youth's voice on climate change should be heard, as they hold the future of the planet and the next generation.

Mapalo said this during the Young Citizens Green Economy Conference held at Walvis Bay.
