Former DTA Member of Parliament Geoffrey Mwilima has died at the age of 70.

According to the family spokesperson, Dr. Cedric Limbo, Mwilima died in a Windhoek hospital today.

One of the Caprivi treason convicts, Geoffrey Mwilima, was released from the Windhoek Correctional Facility today. 

Mwilima was arrested in 1999 at the age of 43.

The Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) has officially unveiled its final list of candidates for the National Assembly elections, revealing a mix of presidential nominations. 

While some prominent figures have secured favourable positions, others have been relegated down the list.
