For years, residents of Okondjatu had to travel long distances to access basic healthcare, with many relying on a small clinic that could no longer meet the needs of the growing community.

The headman of Mururani village in the Kavango West Region has appealed to the Ministry of Health and Social Services to construct a fully fledged clinic in the village.

Namfinda Sikongo shared this during an interview with the NBC news team.
