The Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) has launched a new programme called “DBN for Her” to support women in business.

The programme aims to give women better access to finance so they can grow their businesses and create jobs.

Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare has called on government officials, especially those who hold positions of power, to ensure that they support all businesses regardless of whom they are acquainted with.  

Six young entrepreneurs in the Zambezi Region have received business equipment valued at N$100,000 through a donation by KUZAM Investment, aimed at boosting their small businesses in sectors such as catering, agriculture, laundry, printing, and salon services.

President-elect Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has commended businesspeople who supported her during her campaign for the Presidential elections, where she emerged victorious.

Dr. Nandi-Ndaitwah hosted a meet-and-greet business meeting as a thank-you for their unwavering support.
