The Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy, Modestus Amutse, has embarked on an official visit to the Erongo Region to assess mining activities and advance government plans for natural resource beneficiation.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has pointed out Namibia's resolve to add value to its natural resources, making cooperation with Russia key.

Dr. Nandi-Ndaitwah held talks with Russia's Deputy Prime Minister, Yuri Trutnev, at State House on Tuesday.

Descendants of the victims of the Genocide in the diaspora will benefit from the Joint Declaration through bursaries and other reconciliatory means if it goes through, whilst those who return to Namibia will benefit like any other.
