President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has extended a message of congratulations to local businessman Benjamin Hauwanga following his recognition by the Angolan government’s Cunene Province for his philanthropy and humanitarian work.
The Khomas Regional Council has formalized a twinning agreement with the Cunene Province of Angola to enhance cooperation in sanitation, agriculture, health, and education.
The Cunene Province delegation, along with their governor, Gerdina Didalelwa, visited small-scale farms with the |Khomas Regional Council as part of their week-long programme.
After the visit, the two regions are expected to sign a twinning agreement that will enable them to cooperate in various sectors.
Angola's delegation from the Cunene Province continued its familiarisation tour to the Khomas Region on Wednesday with a visit to the Central Medical Stores in Windhoek.
