Namibian banks are stepping up efforts to combat financial crime as the country strengthens its anti-money laundering and fraud prevention systems. The latest figures from the Financial Intelligence Centre show that closer cooperation between banks, regulators and law enforcement is producing tangible results.

The Presidency has cautioned the public against circulating promotional material and misleading information related to the so-called “Presidential Business Delegation and Leisure Tour to Namibia".

The Governor of the Erongo Region, Natalia |Goagoses, said Namibians should dismantle the architecture of fraud and corruption by constructing a future of transparency, integrity and shared prosperity.

UNAM has warned students to be vigilant against fraudulent activities related to registration procedures.

Speaking to nbc News, UNAM's Communication Officer, Simon Namesho, cautioned students not to fall prey to scams.
