The Keetmanshoop Municipality, INOTA Investment and Standard Bank are partnering in a N$19 million project to develop 30 industrial erven at the town.

Keetmanshoop Councillor Annelize Knaus says lack of serviced land has long hindered investment and employment opportunities.

An expo hall, an open market and a fire station were inaugurated in Nkurenkuru, Kavango West Region.  

Even though the Nkurenkuru Expo Hall has been hosting various events in the region for the past two years, it was never officially inaugurated. 

The governor of the Kunene Region, Marius Sheya, says drought relief distribution efforts to needy communities in the region are facing delays.

This, according to Sheya, is because of the continued heavy rainfall, as gravel roads are being cut off by strong flowing rivers and flash floods.
