The Governor of the Ohangwena Region, Kadiva Hamutumwa, has emphasised the importance of workers' welfare and strong labour relations on the Ondobe-Eenhana Road Rehabilitation Project. 

Hamutumwa visited the Unik Construction Engineering site at Ondobe.

The 30-kilometre stretch in the Ohangwena region is being rehabilitated at a cost of N$365 million.

Years of deterioration had left the road with extensive cracks, base failures and potholes that caused inconvenience and vehicle damage for frequent users.

Northern-based businessman David Sheehama has pledged to rehabilitate two access roads in the Oshana Region. 

The gravel roads will improve access to schools, especially during the rainy season. 

The Roads Authority (RA) Chief Executive Officer says he is satisfied with the progress made in phase one of the road rehabilitation and resurfacing project in Otjiwarongo.

Dr. Conrad Lutombi conducted an assessment of the various road sites where they are assisting the Otjiwarongo Municipality.

The Walvis Bay Municipality said the Road Fund Administration has increased the budget for the road rehabilitation project to N$400 million.

Currently, the rehabilitation of two streets in the heavy industrial area is ongoing under the project.
