The Ministry of Works and Transport has emphasised that no leadership positions at the planned national airline, Namibia Air, have been filled.

In a statement, the Ministry dismissed recent speculation about appointments, saying no names have been formally considered or approved for any leadership role.

Zambia's Government Attorney General, Mulilo Kabesha, says it should be presumed that acceptance of conditions under the Former President Benefits Act by Edgar Lungu means he intended to be given a state funeral in accordance with Zambian customs and traditions.
