Namibia taps renewable energy, green hydrogen to decarbonise aviation

The Executive Director in the Ministry of Works and Transport, Jonas Sheelongo, said Namibia is leveraging its renewable energy and green hydrogen potential to support aviation decarbonisation efforts.

He made the remark during the SADC Annex 16 Environment Workshop underway at Swakopmund.

The Municipality of Henties Bay is gaining momentum in its efforts to strengthen food security and promote self-sufficiency in the Erongo Region.

Karibib Mayor urges more schools for growing population

The mayor of Karibib, Davey van Wyk, has urged the Ministry of Education to build additional schools in the town to accommodate the growing population.

Van Wyk made this statement while donating one thousand play packs to the Emmaus Kindergarten, which were provided by the Twin Hill Project.
