A Youth-to-Youth Indaba organised by the Swapo Party Okongo District is currently underway at Okongo in the Ohangwena Region.

A youth entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) workshop held in Keetmanshoop on Friday addressed the issue of poor business plan skills, which is a major barrier to many young people's access to the National Youth Development Fund.

Out of 11,475 applications received from all 14 regions for the National Youth Development Fund (NYDF), only 42 successful projects are set to benefit from the government-backed financial rollout initiative.

Each region has three projects that will benefit from the fund.

In an effort to have more young people participate in the National Youth Development Fund, the Otjozondjupa Region trained youth on how to write business plans while answering questions they might have regarding the application process.
