The Ministry of Health and Social Services has confirmed 19 cases of Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD) among children in the Rehoboth Health District in the Hardap Region.

In Zambia, 564 people have been discharged from the hospital after recovering from cholera.

Of the initial 577 cumulative cases since the disease broke out in August, only four have remained hospitalised. Nine people have so far died from cholera.

Zambia has confirmed five new cases of Mpox in the last week, bringing the total cumulative cases to 1,733 since the disease outbreak began in October last year. Despite the high number of cases, the Zambia National Public Health Institute reports that the death toll remains at three.
