The Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy has reaffirmed to the National Assembly that decisions related to upstream petroleum activities remain firmly within the Ministry.

The Ministry of Industries, Mines, and Energy says the reported acquisition of a participating interest in a petroleum exploration license between TotalEnergies and Petrobras cannot be recognised as concluded until the required legal process has been followed.
 

The Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy (MIME) has reaffirmed its commitment to accelerating Namibia's industrial development, noting progress on key national programmes and outlining new measures aimed at boosting investment, manufacturing capacity and small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) growth. 

After its monthly review, the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy has decided to keep the fuel price for November unchanged.
