A video circulating on social media since yesterday has captured public attention, as it shows two police officers apprehending a suspect, raising questions about the level of force used during the arrest.

The UN Security Council is the only body empowered to adopt decisions that are binding on all member states and authorise the use of force under international law, as set out in the UN Charter.
