Discussions on strengthening intra-African air connectivity, improving air travel affordability, and advancing infrastructure development are taking centre stage at Aviation Week Africa 2026, which is currently underway in Windhoek. 

Air Connect Namibia, a collaborative initiative launched by the Namibia Airports Company (NAC) in 2024 to strengthen international, regional and domestic air connectivity, has recorded significant growth in both routes and passenger traffic.
