The Minister of Immigration, Safety and Security, Lucia Iipumbu, described the arrival of the new Deputy Minister as having strengthened the foundation on which the security and identity of Namibia rests.

The ministry welcomed Deputy Minister Edward Wambo, who was appointed recently.

The newly appointed Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security officially assumed office this morning, pledging to serve the nation with excellence.

Edward Wambo was welcomed by Minister Lucia Iipumbu during the handover ceremony.
