Thousands of delegates from around the world have converged in Mombasa, Kenya, for the 11th Our Ocean Conference.

The conference is hosted in Africa for the first time.

The Kenyan coastal city of Mombasa is preparing to host the 11th Our Ocean Conference, starting today and ending 18 June.

The global gathering brings together heads of state, policymakers, scientists, conservationists, investors and youth leaders to discuss the future of the world's oceans.
