When one hears the word hero, names from the Namibian's liberation struggle quickly come to mind.

However, for some Namibians, their heroes are not found in history books or on monuments but at home, in places where sacrifices, love and courage are part of everyday life.

What do you call a person whose responsibility is to produce nourishment that is able to sustain life?  A farmer

Others refer to them as our everyday heroes. 

They make sure we have food, despite extreme weather conditions. Their work is physically demanding and financially taxing.
