President Mbumba reflects on humble beginnings on 83rd birthday

Today, August 15, President Nangolo Mbumba turned 83 years old. 

Born in the village of Olukonda in the Oshikoto Region on August 15, 1941, President Mbumba started his professional career as a teacher and eventually achieved his ambition to become a headmaster.

The soup kitchen feeds vulnerable children, and the supply of milk will help to curb malnutrition.

NYS welcomes over 700 youth recruits

The National Youth Service (NYS) has officially welcomed the biggest intake in its history of more than 700 youth recruits at Henties Bay.

The 726 young people are the 15th intake, and they come from all corners of Namibia.
