Over N$400 000 raised for Oshakati Totem Expo

More than N$400,000 was raised at the Oshakati Totem Expo gala dinner to raise funds for the event's success in December.

The Oshakati Totem Expo began in 2012 but was halted in 2022 due to COVID-19.

MICT distances itself from Jonathan Beukes' suspension

Omaheke villages battle veldfires

Villages in the eastern part of Otjinene Constituency, bordering the Eiseb area in the Omaheke Region, are battling a veldfire that has destroyed vegetation and much-needed grazing.

Fire destroys part of Ella Du Plessis hostel

A fire erupted on the upper floor of a hostel building at Ella Du Plessis High School on Wednesday morning. 

The City of Windhoek's fire brigade successfully extinguished the flames. 

Earlier this year, the students were moved from this building as it was declared unfit for habitation.
