A task force has been established to implement the recommendations made in a report on youth unemployment in the country.  

In 2021, the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) published a report on Youth Unemployment in Namibia. 

The Deputy Minister of Sport, Youth, and National Services says the country must do more to tap into youth innovations to address some of the challenges it faces.

Emma Kantema-Gaomas was speaking at the launch of Upshift Namibia, a program aimed at promoting youth entrepreneurship.

Leaders at all levels in Omaheke Region have called on the youth to form cooperatives, develop innovative ideas, and add value to what they produce to become successful entrepreneurs.

These remarks were made during the official launch of the Omaheke Regional Youth Business Trade Expo at Gobabis.

The African Pathfinder Leaders Initiative celebrated its 4th year of existence.

The group, founded by young, innovative Namibians, has trained more than 360 youth in entrepreneurship, community development, and leadership.
