Members of Parliament have raised concerns over the growing backlog of cases at the Anti-Corruption Commission.

The MPs called for increased funding, stressing that the commission plays a critical role in safeguarding public resources and ensuring accountability.

ACC charges Erongo education officials over UNAM teachers’ programme

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has charged the Education Deputy Director for the Erongo Region, Natalia Guriras, and a colleague, Betty Somses, with allegedly providing false information to admit Somses to a teachers’ programme at UNAM.

Guriras and Somses were arrested on Wednesday in Swakopmund.
