Türkiye's Ambassador to Namibia paid a courtesy call to the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation in Windhoek. 

Ambassador Feral Oruçkaptan met with NBC Director General Stanley Similo, where they discussed opportunities on how to tell Namibia's and Africa's cultural stories through media and arts. 

Türkiye has expressed interest in expanding cooperation with Namibia in the mining, textiles, and construction sectors.

This follows the completion of 118 projects by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), covering key areas such as health, education, and agriculture.

Bilateral relations between Namibia and Türkiye have been growing from strength to strength since the country opened an embassy in Windhoek in 2012.

This was said by the Deputy-Minister of Education, Arts and Culture, Faustina Caley, at Türkiye's 99th independence anniversary in Windhoek.
