The declining cost of unleaded petrol and automotive diesel oil in the global oil market is among several factors that led to the fuel prices for the month of September remaining unchanged.
The transport sector heads into the month of June with a bit of relief, with motorists set to pay less for both petrol and diesel.
The price of petrol will decrease by 30 cents per litre, while prices of both diesel variants, Diesel 50ppm and Diesel 10ppm will decrease by 70 cents per litre.
JUST IN | The Ministry of Mines and Energy has announced an increase of N$1.98 in the price of diesel while the price of petrol remains unchanged.
The new fuel prices in Walvis Bay will thus be N$24.10/l for diesel, while petrol remains at N$20.08/l.
