Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) and the National Youth Service (NYS) will soon conclude a partnership agreement, which will see the NYS provide basic maintenance services at NWR resorts across Namibia.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says the government is deliberating on enforcing that all ministries look into absorbing graduates of the National Youth Services (NYS). 

Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare yesterday launched the National Youth Service (NYS) Charcoal Production Youth Project at Rietfontein in the Otjozondjupa Region.

The communities of Kavango East and West regions appear to be making inroads in bringing the harvesting of illegal timber under control. 

Chief Forester for Zambezi, Kavango East and West regions, Johannes Niipale attributes the decrease to resolve shown in holding illegal harvesters criminally liable.
