President Mbumba meets traditional leaders in ||Kharas

President Nangolo Mbumba says the government is concerned over chieftaincy succession disputes, causing leadership vacuums within traditional authorities. 

The Head of State made the remark while addressing traditional leaders at Keetmanshoop. 

As part of his four-day visit to the ||Kharas Region, President Mbumba met with the traditional leaders to introduce himself as head of state and hear their concerns.

Traditional authority leaders in the Omaheke Region are meeting at Gobabis for a week-long seminar on leadership and management techniques.

Speaking at the workshop, the Regional Governor, Pijoo Nganate, emphasized that traditional leaders are pillars of development, hence their coming together should always bear new ideas.
