Project Never Walk Alone is hosting a restoration concert headlined by South Africa's gospel choir, Joyous Celebration.
The concert, which aims to restore and transform souls, will take place at the Hage Geingob Rugby Stadium in the capital on Saturday.
1647 barefooted children in the Kunene Region will each receive a brand new pair of shoes this weekend through the Project Never Walk Alone initiative.
Project Never Walk Alone has, through its Great 50 Pledge initiative, honored President Hage Geingob, Former President Hifikepunye Pohamba, and Founding President Sam Nujoma.
The Project Never Walk Alone has received a N$400,000 donation from Standard Bank Namibia.
The donation will provide shoes for 1,275 children in the Kunene Region.
In 2023, the project intends to hand over 10,000 pairs of shoes.
