A 15-year-old boy died after he was electrocuted at Wanaheda. Titus Alweendo and his younger brother were repairing the roof of their shack today. It is alleged that the younger brother was holding a metal ladder for his brother to come down from the roof and got electrocuted in the process. The shack's electricity is connected from the main house and the electricity cables made contact with the shack, which is built with corrugated iron sheets. Titus was a Grade 8 learner at CJ Brandt Secondary School.
