INTERVIEW | The 97th annual commemoration of the red flag is underway at Okahandja after two years of absence due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The event marks the reburial of the remains of late Ovaherero Paramount Chief Samuel Maharero, repatriated from Botswana in 1923. The day also serves to pay homage to a number of other Ovaherero heroes and heroines.
