The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) held a one-day stakeholders consultative conference to solicit input for the final draft of its national strategy and action plan, for the years 2021-2025. At the event, Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila underscored the importance of rooting out all forms of corruption as an integral part of poverty eradication, a sentiment shared by National Assembly Speaker, Professor Peter Katjavivi. The plan is drawn up under the theme " Nurturing synergy to promote an effective system of integrity, transparency, ethics and accountability in all sectors of the society in Namibia".
