Five people died last night in a horrific car accident in the Zambezi Region. The accident happened at around 21h00 at Kaenda in the Sibbinda Constituency on the B8 road, 50 kilometers west of Katima Mulilo. It is reported that two sedans driving in opposite directions collided head-on. One of the vehicles had seven occupants, four men and three women. The four male including the driver died on the spot, while the three female passengers survived with serious injuries. In the other vehicle with two male occupants, the passenger also died on the spot, while the driver survived with fractured legs. It's not yet established as to what caused the accident.
