Africa ICT Ministers Forum started in Windhoek

United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation's (UNESCO) Assistant Director-General for Communication and Information Tawfik Jelassi says more should be done to ensure universal access to information. UNESCO is ready to assist countries to establish access to information laws and build specialised capacity. Jelassi was speaking at the virtually held Africa Information, Communication and Technology Ministers forum which serves to highlight the relevance of 'Information as a Public Good', drawing attention to the Windhoek +30 Declaration.
