The Board of Directors of the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) has renewed the five-year employment contract Stanley Similo as the Director-General of the Corporation with effect from 1 October 2020. Board Chairman, Lazarus Jacobs said, "we are looking forward to a continued fruitful and productive working relationship as we endeavour to usher the national broadcaster into a technology savvy company which broadcasts with its stated mission of educating, informing and entertaining the Namibian nation."
