The Namibian Police in the //Kharas Region will intensify their search of a three-year-old boy from Luderitz, who went missing on 28 December. Mandela Nakale went missing at about 12h00 at Area 7 location at Lüderitz. It is alleged that Mandela was playing with a four-year-old girl and at about 18h00 the four-year-old was found with the group of other kids looking for Mandela. It is not clear how Mandela got separated from the girl. Mandela was last seen standing next to a fence at Aeroplane Main Road which leads to NHE location about a kilometre away from Area 7 location. He was wearing a red t-shirt, blue trousers and sandals.
