President Hage Geingob says the promotion of a business friendly environments in Namibia through entrepreneurship, will create pathways out of poverty. Geingob said this during the official opening of the multi-million dollar open market at Helao Nafidi in the Ohangwena region, last weekend. The open market will cater over 300 vendors who used to conduct their businesses alongside the town's main roads and at informal areas. The fourth pillar of the Harambee Prosperity Plan states that the Ministry of Industrialisation, Trade and SME Development will continue to invest in the construction of public infrastructure and public services relevant for enhancing international competitiveness of the targeted sectors and industries.
