The City Police arrested four suspects in Windhoek on Sunday after they allegedly stole exterior accessories from vehicles parked in parking lots around the capital. Speaking to the media, City Police superintendent Johannes Emvula said they had been monitoring the suspects for a while before they were arrested. They were allegedly also caught in the act on CCTV cameras. “They are known suspects, we have them on our profile. Today we went to their house, searched the place and caught them,” Emvula said. He added that some of the stolen items were recovered but others have been sold, but they hope to recover the stolen items. “We know where they sold them and we will recover them,” said Emvula. He added that one of the suspects is currently on the run. -NAMPA
